Reuben Levinsohn has been a successful business man and entrepreneur since his early twenties. During his junior year at Michigan State University Reuben bought a national home improvement franchise which he built up from scratch to over a 1.5 million in annual revenue and 40 employees. While running his business he also began acquiring several commercial and residential real estate investment properties. Understanding the importance of financial planning, Reuben became a client of The Centennial Group in 2002. Three years later, after having a very positive experience and wanting to have an impact on others, he became an advisor for The Centennial Group. Since becoming an advisor, Reuben has achieved the honor of Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) for a consecutive four years. Today, Reuben is the director of The Centennial Group’s Medical Division. In this role, Reuben leads a team of financial advisors who provide life and wealth solutions to medical professionals. He has extensive experience in working with residents, fellows, attending physicians, and dentists.

He has drawn on that expertise to develop a series of educational workshops that are designed to help young medical professionalsmake smart financial choices early in their career. Reuben has given these lectures to over 100 resident groups throughout Michigan, Indiana, and Washington, D.C. Reuben has developed the Roadmap for Residents & Young Physicians program, with which he has guided many young physicians through the development and implementation of their custom financial plans.

Separate from the financial plan and an advisors’ role as financial planner, an advisor may recommend the purchase of specific investment or insurance products or accounts.  These product recommendations are not part of the financial plan and clients are under no obligation to follow them.

Personal:
Reuben resides in East Lansing, MI with his wife Rachel and two children, Victoria and David. Reuben founded and directs the Lansing Business Club and The Medical Advisory Group of Lansing. He is an active member and serves on the Ingham Hospital Foundation committee, and National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). Reuben and his family enjoy northern Michigan and spend a lot of their free time at their lake home in Traverse City.
