Mike Anderson joined The Centennial Group in 2000. Prior to joining The Centennial Group, Mike worked in partnership with his father in their family owned business, Anderson Archery in Grand Ledge. After graduating from Michigan State University in 1971, Mike began working full time with his father and eventually bought the business from him in 1995.

Mike joined the firm and worked very hard to reach the success he enjoys today. In his career Mike has the distinction of being named to the Senate Club or Presidents Club for all but two of his 9 years as an advisor and in 2007 achieved the Chairman’s Club which is the top honor offered by Securian. Mike attributes his success to hard work, the ability to build relationships and more importantly getting people to act. He also understands that although knowledge is important, being able to utilize the strong points of other advisors and specialists within the firm gives him an edge that other firms don’t offer.

Personal:

Mike lives in Grand Ledge with his wife Carol. They have been married for 44 years and have three grown children, Scott, Joe and Jeff who have given them the joy of nine wonderful grandchildren. Starting at the age of eight, working for his father, Mike learned early on the importance of maintaining good business and personal relationship if you want to be successful. This attitude and his strong commitment to his family, church and community are the reasons he is so successful in the financial planning business
